Geoffrey Schorr
Owner & Founder
Attorney
Geoffrey Schorr is the founder and sole owner of Schorr Law Firm, which he opened in May of 2001. Mr. Schorr’s legal group at Schorr Law Firm have proudly and successfully helped hundreds of clients who have been harmed, or whose family members have been harmed, as the result of someone else’s negligence.
Through his extensive work and achievements for his clients over the years, Mr. Schorr has gained extensive experience in representing clients who have been involved in car wrecks and semi-truck accidents, clients who have been victims of medical malpractice, clients who have lost loved ones due to the wrongful acts or omissions of another, clients who have been injured on another’s property due to unreasonably dangerous conditions, clients who have been attached by vicious animals and clients who have suffered many other injuries for which individuals have legal rights.
Throughout his career, Mr. Schorr has represented clients from all over the State of Texas, including: San Antonio, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Tyler, Gainesville, Paris, Longview, Denton, McKinney, Palestine, Nacogdoches, Houston, Rockwall, Alvarado, Grapevine, and other Texas cities as well as clients from other states who were injured, or who lost loved ones, in Texas.
Mr. Schorr is licensed to practice in Texas, and is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas, as well as the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and The Supreme Court of the United States of America.

Kelly Schorr
Comptroller
Kelly grew up in Dallas Texas. She attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School and Bishop Lynch High School, where she met her high-school sweetheart and husband, Geoffrey Schorr. Throughout most of her career Kelly has been a school teacher. She taught in Mesquite Independent School District, Catholic Diocese of Dallas at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School before retiring to come to work at Schorr Law Firm.

Jared Aldinger
Family Law Attorney
Jared Aldinger is an attorney with Schorr Law Firm, experienced in many areas of law including personal injury, family law, estate planning and probate. Mr. Aldinger started as a clerk with the firm while he was in law school, and was offered and accepted a job as an attorney after becoming licensed.
Mr. Aldinger’s legal group is in charge of the family law department at the firm which provides legal services for clients in all areas of family law, including: divorce, child support, enforcement, modification and adoption. Mr. Aldinger understands that family law matters can be extremely emotional and stressful for the parties involved, and focuses on providing the firm’s clients with the customer service they deserve, and the quality legal representation they expect.
In order to minimize the anxiety and stress that most people encounter when confronted with a legal matter, Mr. Aldinger will take time to educate you about the law and will involve you in the legal process so that you have a clear understanding of the legal issues confronting you, and the strategies to be implemented for resolving your legal matter in an efficient, cost effective manner.
Mr. Aldinger also represents clients involved in civil disputes and civil lawsuits, as well as estate planning and probate matters.
Mr. Aldinger graduated from Texas State University with a degree in accounting. After graduation he joined a public accounting firm in Dallas where he worked as an auditor. Feeling the need to be challenged more Mr. Aldinger decided to pursue a legal education.
Mr. Aldinger has been employed with Schorr Law Firm since 2007.

Shannon Holt Whiddon
Legal Assistant to Jared Aldinger
Shannon joined the firm in January 2010. She grew up locally and graduated from Poteet High School in Mesquite, Texas. After receiving her paralegal certificate in 1996, she joined the Law Offices of Joseph E. Ashmore, Jr., P.C., and remained there for more than 13 years. She brings a unique skill set to Schorr Law Firm as well as a genuine commitment to her job and our firm’s clients. Shannon is part of Mr. Aldinger’s legal group.
Terrie Reagan
Legal Assistant to Geoffrey Schorr
Terrie started with Schorr Law Firm on February 1, 2003. She has more than 25 years assisting clients who have been injured because of the negligent acts and/or omissions of others. Terrie has had experience in all stages of personal injury and medical malpractice claims including: client intake, investigating claims, investigating coverage, assessing liability, assisting clients with setting up doctor appointments, working with insurance adjusters and medical providers, gathering medical records and bills, negotiating with providers and insurance companies, and litigation.
Terrie is very hands on and is dedicated to making sure Schorr Law Firm clients receive the attention that they have grown to expect from our firm. Terrie is very passionate about Schorr Law Firm clients and assisting in obtaining justice for our clients, and is determined to do everything possible to bring about terrific results for all our clients. Terrie is a part of Mr. Schorr’s legal group.
Carina Martinez
Litigation Legal Assistant to Geoffrey Schorr
Carina Martinez is the litigation legal assistant to Mr. Schorr. Carina is extremely motivated and possesses a great desire to help Mr. Schorr achieve success for Schorr Law Firm clients whose personal injury claims are filed as lawsuits. Carina coordinates the litigation schedules for our clients and communicates frequently with the courts, mediators, court reporters and opposing counsels. Carina assists clients answering written discovery and preparation for trial and deposition testimony.
Carina is also one of the firm’s translators as she speaks fluent Spanish and offers translation services to Schorr Law Firm clients. Carina has been employed with the firm since September 4, 2007.
While working for our firm, Carina is also furthering her education at the Dallas County Community College District. She expects to earn a legal assistant degree.
Carina is an invaluable member of Schorr Law Firm and is dedicated to assisting in whatever method possible to benefit our clients. Carina is part of Mr. Schorr’s legal group.
Yesenia Pedraza
Receptionist / Legal Secretary
As the firm’s receptionist, Yesenia is the first person you will meet when entering the firm. Yesenia also serves as a legal secretary for the firm, and assists in translating for clients when a Spanish speaker is needed. Yesenia began working with the firm in October 2010.
Yesenia is customer service oriented and is determined to make certain that our clients receive the best customer service possible.
Yesenia is very involved with her family at home and has become a part of the Schorr Law Firm family as well. Yesenia is part of Mr. Schorr’s and Mr. Aldinger’s legal group.
